Supermodel Miranda Kerr MARRIES Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel

403

The Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr married Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel in a private ceremony in southern California.

Kerr’s family travelled from their country NSW home for the private vows, at which her son Flynn, six, was expected to play a part.

It is Kerr’s second marriage, after a prior relationship with Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, father of Flynn.

Prior to the pair’s nuptials ceremonies, caterers and employees were seen making arrangements for a big celebration in the backyard of Spiegel’s home.

According to sources, it was a private and homely ceremony for family and friends — around 40 guests total — and everyone was escorted to Spiegel’s house in cars.

Kerr, 34, and Spiegel, 26,got engaged last July and yesterday tied the knot in a warm, family-centred ceremony in the garden of their $16 million Brentwood mansion.

Guests started arriving late Saturday afternoon local time, with men in black tie and some women donned in floaty, floor-length dresses.

“For a small wedding, it has been a huge production. The wedding and reception are intimate, but outlandish and classy. Miranda has been very involved. She has great taste and knew exactly what she wanted. She is very sweet. She is delighted to marry Evan,” a source said.

In an interview, Kerr said the couple’s favourite moments were those spent together at home.

“We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early,” she told Net-a-Porter last year.

“He’s 25, but acts like he’s 50. He’s not out partying. He goes to work in (LA’s) Venice. He comes home.”
